We have named the race “The Marcus Gynn Newmarket 10k” in memory of our club mate Marcus Gynn. Donations from the race will be made to Sarcoma UK..
This increasingly popular race has a beautiful undulating scenic route; it is ideal for both novice and experienced runners.
The chip timed race starts and finishes at “The Ellesmere Centre” Stetchworth CB8 9TS.
We are pleased to announce this year’s race will be sponsored again by Musk’s sausages and Tattersalls.
St John’s Ambulance will be providing First Aiders.

Please note this is an open road event, runners must follow the Highway Code e.g. stopping at road crossings if necessary.

No runner to receive more than one individual prize.
The race is run in accordance with the UKA rules for competition, and in particular, please note that all types of headphones/music players/MP3/iPod, etc, will result in disqualification. Minimum age 15 years on the day.
Affiliated Club Runners £15.00, Non- affiliated £17.00.

Junior race at 9:30am
The Junior race is organised by laps around Stetchworth playing field according to age:
0-7 years – 1 lap (U8)
8-10 years – 2 laps (U11)
11-12 years – 3 laps (U13)
13-14 years – 4 laps (U15)
All fun run entrants to be accompanied by an adult.
There will be medals for all finishers and trophies awarded on the day to first girl and boy in each age group. Times and places for all entrants will be published on the website a few days after the event.
Entry on the day, £3 per child.
Entry desks will close at 9:15am sharp!
