The 2nd of the winter cross country league runs took place last weekend. Woodbridge was the ground for this run. Another week of good running results for the Newmarket Joggers. Grainne Brennan went home to Ireland to run a personal best in the Waterford Half Marathon. The Bonfire Burn 10k which is a multi terrain route along the northern fringes of Cambridge saw nearly 1000 joggers take part.  Newmarket Jogger Chris Gay performed well on this chilly morning, coming in 12th overall with his time of 37.12.  Fellow jogger Dave Price crossed the line in 58.25. 5ks to marathons were run by the joggers last week. Far away in New Zealand, jogger Pearl Fay, completed the Lower Hutt park run. The amazing scenery distracted Pearl a little but she still crossed the line in 34.29, making her 3rd in her age group. (55-59). 22nd October 2017 Over 1500 runners took to the streets of Cambridge for the annual Town and Gown 10K run this weekend. Several of the joggers represented the club at this run. 15th October 2017 Medals for the joggers this week, with 3 great performances from the clubs runners. Thurlow 10 mile multi terrain run gained prizes for some runners this weekend. Winners all round

Round Norfolk Relay. 17 runners from the joggers completed this 197 mile run around the Norfolk boundaries. This 24 hour race divided into 17 unequal stages started at Kings Lynn.
