Join the Joggers

Newmarket Joggers is known for being a very welcoming and supportive Club and we try to cater for a wide range of abilities and ambitions.

The table below sets out the various Membership Categories on offer and the yearly subscription that is payable for each category. Our ethos is ‘pay once per year’ for the elements in the category that best meets your needs.

Your membership payment is also recognising the hard work put in by the dedicated team of  volunteers, who manage and co-ordinate the Club for the benefit of members and ensuring the Club adheres to England Athletics standards and conduct.

We do not require any minimum performance standard to join the club but if you are looking to join in the training sessions we would expect an ability of being able to continuously run 6km outside (ie: not on a treadmill).  If this is your limit or you are not confident running on the road then we would ask that you attend the track sessions to start with. The track is a safe environment where you will be supported by our coaches to build speed and endurance.

Senior membership is for those who are aged 18 years or over and train with the seniors (track or distance).

Junior membership is for 9-17 year olds who follow the off-road junior training.  Junior members under the age of 9 can sometimes be accommodated at the discretion of the coaches.  Please contact the Membership Secretary or Training Captain if you wish to discuss this.

There is no difference in subscription rates between junior and senior membership but a discounted rate is available for junior members whose parent or legal guardian is a first claim member in good standing.

For all Membership queries or enquiries please contact Angela Brennan, Membership Secretary at membership@newmarketjoggers.co.uk

The membership year runs from 1st April – 31st March
