Road running is our most popular discipline and there are many opportunities for our members to compete.  These include:

• Our 5k handicap race which takes place on the first Tuesday of every month
• The Arkwrights 5k “Summer Series” league
• Our own Newmarket 10k race (incorporating a junior 3k trail race) in late June
• The Round Norfolk Relay
• Ipswich Jaffa’s Ekiden relays (junior and senior)
• The JM Finn Friday Five Series of 5-mile races which takes place over the summer
• Many other local and national races

Additionally the club is assigned one place in the London Marathon which is allocated by random draw to one of our members who was unsuccessful in the main ballot.
