The Club Awards are held annually, typically at the club Christmas Party (always a highlight in the Newmarket Jogger calendar!) – they recognise members’ achievements from the year.
There a diverse range of awards from newcomer to champion performer and even the famous ‘vest on a quest’. This means everyone has a chance of walking (or running) away with an award at the end of the year.
Following a review by a member led working group there was a new Annual Awards Specification for 2023 along with a new selection and voting procedure. The aim was to make the awards more inclusive, fair and ultimately create more interest amongst club members.

Jogger Of The Month
Brought back in June 2022 the club have a ‘Jogger Of The Month’ award.
This award is given to a club member and is given for a variety of reasons; running performance, outstanding contribution to helping the club or anything else deemed appropriate.
The winner each month is decided by committee based on nominations sent in from club members. To nominate anybody just email the club secretary (secretary@newmarketjoggers.co.uk) with the name of the person you are nominating and the reason for your nomination.
