Olivia Carter - Membership
Olivia joined Newmarket Joggers in 2018 in search of new friends having just moved to the area. Being surrounded by such supportive, friendly club members opened her eyes to the benefits of being part of a run club, both in terms of running performance and the friendships made along the way.

Her favourite runs involve mud, whether that's cross country in the winter or playing on the trails through the summer.

Being a Jogger is so much more than just running and this is most evident at team events throughout the year.
Edson Wilkinson - Officials Coordinator
Edson first started race walking in 2012 when he was ten years old. His first race was a junior race at the Moulton walks, which he enjoyed. From then on he started training and racing more regularly and improved his ability. However in November 2022, after being virtually injury free, Edson picked up a hip injury that stopped him from training and competing.

Midway through 2023 he embarked on his journey into coaching and later on officiating. Edson is currently a level one timekeeper and race walking official and also a coaching assistant. He holds a first aid qualification and an enhanced DBS certificate. Edson is also the current Suffolk Track & Field Officials Secretary.
