Grainne Brennan was 1st lady home, in overall 5th position at this weekends Orwell 10k race. 168 people ran this flat run across fields in Cambridgeshire. Grainne finished in just 42.49. Fellow jogger Caroline McIntosh also crossed the line for the club in this run.
The Newmarket joggers hosted the next in the Kevin Henry series. This 5k run which takes place on the Newmarket gallops had 359 runners, of which 55 were Newmarket Joggers. On the hot evening Danny Peeling was 1st male home for the club (17.04) Sam Sadler (17.35) was not far behind. Grainne Brennan (20.13) was the first Newmarket Jogger home. Many of the clubs runners took part in this event, including, Martyn Taylor, Jim Withers, Chris Aylmer, Lisa Winnington, Jenny Osbourn and Stephanie Greenwood.
James Tweed completed the Steeple Bumpstead 10K in 45.25, taking 2 mins off his previous time.
Henry Hamilton-Gould ran the Shrewsbury Half Marathon coming 152nd out of 1500 runners. Henry completed the hot run in 1.36.24
