This week saw the return of the local Newmarket Heath Race & Stable / Stud Challenge. This is a friendly but challenging off road race on the historic Newmarket Heath. 167 runners tackled this course, including many Newmarket joggers. The Newmarket Joggers came home with several trophies this year. Danny Peeling ( 18.56) was 2nd overall male across the line. Hot on his heels was Sam Sadler ( 19.32) taking 3rd overall trophy. Rebecca Oettle ( 24.11) was 1st female Newmarket Jogger across the line, giving her the 3rd female overall trophy. Neville Clarke (23.45) picked up 1st MV60+, Ellie Bithell (26.40) collected the 1st FV40 trophy and Jessica Podd went home with the 1st FU21 trophy.
