The wet weekend saw some of the joggers brave some races. Haverhill hosted both a 10k run and a half marathon run. The clubs Sam Sadler crossed the line in 3rd position in the 10k and club runner Alan Thornhill finished in 1.04.16 for his first ever 10k. The half marathon saw Robert Jaina finish in overall 21st position (1.40.01) in a field of 90 runners. Lynda McCormack also crossed the line (2.12.14) – making this her second half marathon in as many weeks.
Thetford saw some of the other joggers taking on this tough trail in the 10k hoohah run. With a field of over 500 runners, Nicky Chapman was 3rd lady home followed by Andrew Taylor in 52nd position and Gillie Green.
