Icy conditions have been the main concern for the latest races that the Newmarket Joggers have taken part in. With many saving themselves for the coming marathons a few have braved the conditions.
Henry Hamilton-Gould travelled to Welwyn Garden City where he joined a field of nearly 400 runners to come home in overall 24th position in the Love Welwyn 10k run. Henry crossed the finish line in 42.02.
Jo Curtis and David Blackstock braved the conditions in Leicestershire by taking part in the 10mile Beast run. Jo and David completed the run which had challenges such as water wades, jumps and a large number of hills to contend with.
Newmarket Jogger James Thomson also took on the very muddy conditions at Clare Castle Country Park where he completed his 200th park run. James put in a finishing time of just 21.00 giving him 8th overall position out of a field of 153.
