The Bonfire Burn 10k which is a multi terrain route along the northern fringes of Cambridge saw nearly 1000 joggers take part. Newmarket Jogger Chris Gay performed well on this chilly morning, coming in 12th overall with his time of 37.12. Fellow jogger Dave Price crossed the line in 58.25.
Several other joggers took on the half marathon distance in Lode, a flat out and back course on the other side of Cambridge. Stephen Cousins was first Newmarket Jogger over the line in 1.43.07. Richard Groom (1.48.54), Pauline Green (1.53.56) and Alice Leadbeter (2.23.16) also put in strong performance’s to cross the line.
