Hannah Pollard competed in the “Festive Forest Challenge” at West Stow near Bury st Edmunds on Saturday. Hannah chose to run the 20 mile option. Her 2.52.02 time saw her as first female home and 5th overall. Fellow joggers, Helen Wass and Arran Dennis completed the 13.1 mile option and Carol McIntosh got her medal for completing the 6 mile option. All the runners contributed towards raising £5500 for the St Nicholas Hospice.
Sunday saw another 12 of the Joggers take part in the Bass Belle 10K run at Bassingbourn. Newmarket Jogger Denys Olefir broke the course record with his finishing time of 55.32. Denys shaved 4 seconds of the current fastest time. Neil Pollard completed another great run coming in 5th place with her personal best time of 57.44.
