Autumn doesn’t stop the joggers.

Cambridge Town and Gown annual 10K saw several of the joggers battle the wind and rain this weekend. Joggers Helen Wass and Jackie Hall crossed the finish line together with a time of 50.51.  5 other joggers took part all finishing with great times. Ian Jackson, Arran Dennis, Mike Sales, Sarah Sales, and Sue Kent.
The rain had just stopped in time for Jogger Ruth Eberhardt to bring in a personal best of 1.21.38 in the Thurlow 10 mile race. Mark Hayware ran a great 1.03.48, Eugene Husband, 1.09.35 and Jon Booker 1.12.05.  Other joggers all finishing were, Clive Purbrooke – 1.12.05, Miles Johnson – 1.30.30, Chris Aylmer – 1.32.38, Lynda McCormack – 1.45.20,  and Mary Marsh – 1.46.30
There were more medals for Denys Olefir at the Godolphin 1000 mile challenge taking place in Moulton.  Denys was first male overall for his 10 mile run, Alex Cairns took 2nd place.  First lady overall for her 5 mile run was club member Hannah Pollard

In other news Caroline McIntosh took part in the Lakenheath Nature Rerserve 10K Race for Wildlife.
