The Larkin Gowen Ipswich Half marathon saw Grianne Brennan tear up the route with a finishing time of 1.33.03 making her the 3rd woman home. Hot on her heals was fellow jogger Nicky Chapman with an impressive 1.39.06. This gave the club ladies places of 46th and 104th out of a massive 1080 finishers, amazing running.
The wicked Walden 10K saw another runner Ruth Eberhardt come home with the female Veteran 40 trophy by completing the race with a personal best of 46.28. Several other joggers from the club also completed with fantastic efforts. Chris Aylmer- 56.52, Jane Smith – 1.06.33 and Carol McIntosh with 1.12.24.
And to round the weekend off Ely was host to the Monster half marathon which saw club runner Jo Curtis home with a personal best of 2.06 and Gillie Green tackled the course in 2.23. Another weekend of great results for the joggers.
