Picturesque Framlingham Castle was the setting for the opening fixture of the Suffolk league cross country. Martyn Taylor led the Joggers home in 23rd place. Alice Everett ran a great race in 32.57. Greg Davis was a little off the pace this time, but plugged on in 33.28. Other notable performances were from Grainne Neary , Ursula Ransom,, Neville Clarke, Neil Williamson, Brian Munns and Steve Edward returning after a lengthy absence. Arran Dennis was next followed by Karine Ferrin with Jeremy Reader close up. Svitlana Zinchenko, Marjie Davis, Sarah Sales, Isabel Vicente, Pearl Fay, Lisa Jennings and Jenny Osbourn all contributed towards the points and saw the combined team of Newmarket & Sudbury in a healthy position for the next fixture on December 6th at Woodbridge.
