The Newmarket Joggers had the Abingdon 10K surrounded on Sunday with a fabulous mixture of elite performers and a healthy sprinkling of graduates from their successful beginners groups.

A pb was also on the agenda for Paul Dockerill in a solid time of 42.18. The evergreen Neville Clarke was next home for the Joggers in 43.21 to take the V60 class. Clive Purbrook was dependable as ever and finished in 45.18.Belinda Schofield cased him home in 49.33.Miles Johnson ran well in 52.09.Kate warboys, a graduate or the 2014 Beginners group has made great progress and finished in 58.47.Mary Marsh was solid in 01.00.45 and Jane Smith in 01.02.15. Jackie Henleyis another promising recruit and she performed well in 01.02.52, just shading Emma Townsend in 01.03.57. Caroline Sheehan and Jenny Osbourn were close up in 01.05.43 and 01.06.16 rspectively. Rhonda Waters ran very well in 01.08.27.
