Grunty Fen Half Marathon
Despite warm and windy conditions, there were some fine performances in the Grunty Fen Half Marathon on Sunday 14th September. It is a longstanding favorite among club members who were led home buy Martyn Taylor in 1.23 to take 27th placing.
the 1mile fun run saw William Taylor run in the u12 category and Austin Taylor retained his u9 title in the 1K race after a sporting gesture from a boy who accidentally tripped him, then stopped to help him up. Fittingly, they were awarded joint 1st place.
