Kevin Henry League-Final Fixture, Cambridge & Coleridge

The curtain came down on the popular Kevin Henry League 5k series at the fabulous Cambridge & Coleridge track last Thursday evening.

The Newmarket Joggers have been well represented all through the season in this event. From elite runners to new members cutting their teeth on competitive racing and there have been some stunning performances all round.

The overall male outstanding performer throughout the series was Neil Pollard. The special club nominated awards went to Hannah Pollard and James Thomson. Both having made significant improvement all season.

Graduates from the 2017 Beginners group were also racing well and there were solid runs from Chris Bellwood, Mandy Davis and Jan Holmes to name a few.

Norwich 10k, Sunday 6th August

A quality 5000 strong field line up in Norwich for the 10k race on Sunday. Neil and Hannah Pollard are in stunning form this year and once again produced the goods with Neil coming home 18th overall in 35.27 and Hannah in 43.52 and 15th female..

Wibbly Wobbly Log Jog, Thetford. Friday 4th August.

The off road 5 mile run is a staple for Newmarket Joggers and the new route proved popular.
Cub Captain Brian Munns was 1st home in 6oth place in 41.24. next home was Club Lady Captain Helen Wass in a time of 43.59. Ji9m Withers loves this event and recorded a time 44.28. Miles Johnson was home in 44.35. Chris Aylmer performed with credit in 49.23.Lynda McCormack was home in 50.14.
